Bequests, through a will or trust, are a popular way to maintain your current standard of living while providing charitable support to causes that you care about.

Bequest basics:

There are several options available through a bequest, including:

 

Specific Bequest: Designation of specific dollar amounts or assets

 

Percentage Bequest: Designate a specific percentage of your estate to Central Pennsylvania Conservancy

 

Residuary Bequest: Distributes any remainder of your estate, after other costs and bequests, to the Conservancy

 

Contingent Bequest: This options allows you to leave your entire estate to family and friends, but you if you outlive your beneficiaries, you can designate that portion to Central Pennsylvania Conservancy
