Paul joined the CPC team in July 2019 and a few months later became CPC’s new stewardship coordinator. After graduating from Shippensburg University in 2017 with an M.S. in Biology and preparing for a teaching career, Paul found inspiration in land trust work and especially CPC’s plans for its flagship nature preserve, the Letort Spring Garden Preserve. At the preserve, he’s managed volunteer programs, given educational tours, developed interpretational material, and engaged in stewardship activities with invasive plant management, prescribed fire, clearing the rail trail corridor for an extension, native planting, and erecting split rail fencing. Paul also assists CPC in conservation easement monitoring, management plan writing, conservation database development, and communications support.
